Stainless Steel 316 polished tubes contain nickel 10.00-14.00%, molybdenum 2.00-3.00%, chromium 16.00-18.00% and iron 67.845% and low carbon content of 0.08% max. The tubing has great mechanical characteristics including tensile strength of 75 000 psi (515 MPa) and yield strength of 30 000 psi (205 MPa). It has a density of 8.0 g/cmΒ³ and it melts at 1400 o C. The tubing is produced in accordance with ASTM A249, A269 and A270 standards and is available in various wall thicknesses of 0.3mm to 50mm as well as in various lengths such as single random and double random.
