SS 201 is a low-nickel, high-manganese austenitic stainless steel known for its excellent corrosion resistance, high strength and durability. The grade offers good formability and toughness. The different types of tubes provide various industrial needs, ensuring reliability in structural, mechanical and fabrication applications.
SS 201 round bar has 515 MPa tensile strength and 275 MPa yield strength, ensuring high load capacity, durability, and resistance to bending or deformation. With 16-18% Chromium, 5.5-7.5% manganese, and 0.3-0.5% Nickel. It offers 40% elongation and 8.0 g/cm³ density. The Round Bar has a 1454°C melting point, allowing it to withstand high temperatures. This property makes it suitable for heat-intensive applications.
